- Help with Fundraising and PR
- Work in a Foodbank centre: meet clients and give out food
- Be a driver delivering food in rural areas

We love individuals, schools, churches and businesses to get involved in collecting food for their local foodbank. Giving food is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3:
Check out our shopping list to see what we take: These items allow us to make foodboxes that provide nutritionally balanced food for 3 days. Please remember: All food needs to be non-perishable, so nothing fresh please! Owing to safety and storage restrictions, food must be within its recommended sell by or best before date. The tins or packaging should not be damaged.
Take your food to your nearest foodbank: We love donations large or small, but unfortunately limited resources mean that we cannot collect donations unless they are in bulk. We ask people to take their food donation to the foodbank centre when it is open. ( view the foodbank map at Google Maps . . . )
Thank you for helping people in crisis!
Make a Financial Donation: Our pledge is to give food to people in crisis free of charge. We are very grateful to all those who in turn donate food. However the warehousing and distribution costs us money so in order to give food away free we do need financial help, and would value your financial support too, if you are able to assist. Thank you for your support.

I am interested in being a voucher holder ...
The Foodbank relies on a network of voucher holders consisting of health visitors, social workers, housing support teams, children's support teams, churches, advisory organisations, debt advisory teams, welfare advisory teams, charity and community support teams and other community based support workers to refer people using a food voucher to the Foodbank centre where people receive food.
If you work in the above fields and your organisation would like to hold some vouchers to give out to people in need please contact Jessie at the North Lakes Foodbank at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a meeting to discuss becoming a voucher holder with us.
