Thank you to everyone who has donated Easter eggs over the past couple of weeks. Here at North Lakes food bank we have had nearly 1500 donated. All of these will be given out to families and children over the Easter period to put a smile on their face during these difficult times. Today while shopping in Aldi we were offered 200 large Easter eggs which completely filled my Honda Jazz!
From earlier posts on Facebook you'll see the number of generous organisations that have also given us Easter eggs. Many of these have come to us as a result of Easter egg hunts that have had to be cancelled by such ad the National Trust or through local town councils and other organisations.
The Turntable Cafe at Ravenglass Station brought all sorts of Easter goodies to our Egremont Centre yesterday as well as other food and drink. THANK YOU.
