Morrisons supermarket announced a new scheme to help restock Foodbanks nationally during the coronavirus outbreak, setting aside £10 million worth of dedicated stock specifically for them.

This week we received our first delivery from Whitehaven & Workington stores which included bread (200 loaves!), eggs and ambient goods (pasta and canned goods etc.). When so many of our regular channels for food are currently closed this helps to fill the gap as demand for our service rises. We will receive a delivery each week over the next few months. THANK YOU Morrisons.
