Warehouse visit by Fairydust youth group.

A small group from Fairydust (Silloth) youth group came for a look around the warehouse yesterday evening. They learnt all about the things that we do at North Lakes food bank including our Lunchpacks 4 kids scheme. We were able to tell them that we have distributed over 58 tonnes of food in the past 12 months . The warehouse is quite empty at this time of year and again we were able to explain that the demand for food remains constant right the way through the year, and the importance of food donations every week of every month from January to December.
